About About the Shanghai Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Shanghai (University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located at No. 1200 Cai Lun Road, Pudong New District, Shanghai (inside Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine). The museum and its affiliated Baicao Garden and Xinglin Garden cover a total area of about 11,500 square meters. It is the earliest medical history museum in China. In July of the 27th year of the Republic of China (1938), the Shanghai Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine was built, formerly known as the Medical History Museum of the Chinese Medical Association. In April 1980, the Medical History Museum reopened after adjusting and enriching the display content.
