About Gu Zhenghong Meomorial Hall

Gu Zhenghong Memorial Hall (Gu Zhenghong Memorial Hall) is located at No. 300, Macao Road, Changshou Road Street, Putuo District, Shanghai, China. It covers a total area of 1,300 square meters and a construction area of 393.32 square meters. It is an important position to commemorate the heroic deeds of martyr Gu Zhenghong and conduct in-depth research on the history of the May 30th Movement and the history of the Western Shanghai Revolution. The Gu Zhenghong Memorial Hall was completed and opened on May 30, 2008; it will be renovated and reopened to the public on July 1, 2021. The whole museum is composed of three parts: the Memorial Square, the Memorial Hall, and the place where Gu Zhenghong was martyred. The Memorial Hall is composed of five parts: the suffering years, awakening and growth, anti-imperialist rage, prairie fire, and eternal memory.
