About The CCTV Nanhai Movie and TV Town
Nanhai Film and Television City, also known as CCTV Nanhai Film and Television City, is located on Film and Television Avenue, Shishan Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It was founded in 1996. It is a comprehensive tourist area that mainly provides film and television shooting services, as well as sightseeing, cultural entertainment, leisure and vacation functions. It covers an area of more than 1,500 acres. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and is known as "China's Hollywood". It is an ideal filming base and tourist attraction in the Pearl River Delta where the natural conditions are not subject to man-made damage and pollution. The scenic area consists of the Tianchao Palace Area, the Jiangnan Water Town Area, the Old Hong Kong and Macao Cultural Area and the Leisure Performance Area.
