About Yantai Haichang Whale Shark Ocean Park
Yantai Haichang Whale Shark Museum is located at Haichang Fisherman's Wharf. It is the world's first marine science and technology museum with a whale shark theme. The building is shaped like a nautilus and has ten special functional areas inside, including whale shark exhibition area, shark exhibition area, sea turtle exhibition area, manatee exhibition area, coral exhibition area, jellyfish exhibition area, joy theater, deep sea adventure, mermaid legend, and dynamic ocean. Through modern technologies such as sound, light, and shadow, the ocean world landscape is presented to tourists. The address is Fisherman's Wharf, No. 45, Binhai Middle Road, Laishan District, Yantai City, Shandong Province. The opening hours are 8:30-17:00. The museum officially opened on September 23, 2011 and was invested and constructed by Dalian Haichang Group.
