About xiaolingyan
Xiaolingyan is a natural boulder located next to Shouxing Gongshan Creek in Yunfeng Mountain, Xinhui District, Guangdong Province. It is rectangular in shape, about 4 meters wide and nearly 3 meters high, facing east to west. The surface of the boulder is engraved with the three characters "Xiaolingyan" in seal script. The single character is about 25 cm wide and 40 cm high. The upper inscription is "Bingchen Mid-Autumn Festival" in regular script, and the inscription is in regular script "Mo Zhuoting's book on Yucun". According to historical records, it was carved in "Yucun" in the first year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1796), which is the nickname of Mo Peiran, a calligrapher in the Qing Dynasty.
