About rocket coaster
The Rocket Coaster is a composite roller coaster launched at Guangzhou Chimelong Paradise during the National Day in 2017. The total track length is nearly 300 meters and the top speed exceeds 100 kilometers per hour. The project combines the running tracks of a vertical roller coaster, a ten-ring roller coaster, a motorcycle roller coaster and a U-shaped skateboard, and can achieve vertical drops, upside down dives, 360-degree mid-air rotations and other composite actions within a 45-second experience cycle. The equipment adopts an aerospace theme design and simulates a space capsule scene through high-speed rotation and short-term weightlessness. The operation process includes forward acceleration, sudden retreat, and nearly 50-meter vertical dive.
