About Yupei Villa

Yupei Villa is located in Kaiping Liyuan Scenic Area. It was built from 1926 to 1936. The projected building area is 64 square meters, 12.8 meters × 5 meters, and 5 floors high. Named after the owner's nickname "Yupei", it was built in memory of his concubine Tan Yuying. The four floors are imitation Chinese ancient style, Japanese sleeping style, Italian Tibetan style, and Roman palace style. The ground is cleverly constructed with four "red hearts" connected together in a circular pattern, indicating that the owner of the garden has a close affection for the four ladies.
