About Peach Blossom Stream
Peach Blossom Stream is located in the Pearl Tower Scenic Area of Baiyun Mountain in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It was built in 1960 and was renovated and opened in May 1999. The whole garden covers an area of about 55,000 square meters. It is a Chinese-style landscape garden based on the theme of Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Spring" in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Fei peach, white beta peach, flat peach, longevity peach and other varieties are planted in the garden. The number of peach blossoms is about 2,000, and it is equipped with simple and natural pavilions, realistic plastic rocks, bamboo forests, streams and other landscapes. The park is open to tourists free of charge from April 1st to December 31st every year. January 1st to March 31st is the key maintenance and viewing period for peach blossoms.
