About Guanlan Printmaking Village
Guanlan Printmaking Village is one of the top ten ancient Hakka villages in Shenzhen. It is located in Niuhu Community, Guanlan Street, Longhua District, Shenzhen, the hometown of Chen Yanqiao, a pioneer of China's emerging woodcut movement, a famous printmaker and art theorist. Its architectural style is a typical Hakka row house. This prestigious Hakka village is the last paradise in Shenzhen. Now it has become a hot spot for rural and folk tourism in Shenzhen together with OCT Gankeng Hakka Town, Hehu Xinju, Jingui Village, etc. Shenzhen not only has high-rise buildings, but also has a paradise version of an ancient Hakka village - Guanlan Printmaking Village. The predecessor of Guanlan Printmaking Village was Dashuitian Village, which included two natural villages, Niuhu Xinweichang (also known as Longmenwei) and Dashutian Village. Both villages are places with beautiful scenery.
