About Dafen Oil Painting Village
Dafen Village is a village under the Dafen Community of Buji Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. It is located between Shenhui Highway and Busha Highway in Buji Street, southeast of Buji Street, 1 km away from the street, and adjacent to Nanling Village, Kapokwan Village, Buji Street Office and Shiyaling Park, with an area of 0.4 square kilometers. At the end of 2015, the registered population of Dafen Village was 4,923. Dafen Village is located in a hilly area with Shiya Ridge and an altitude of 198 meters. The Dafen Branch of the Buji River flows through the southeast of the village. Dafen Village has a subtropical monsoon climate, with warm and humid climate throughout the year, long but not very hot summers, abundant rainfall, and long sunshine hours. Dafen Village is a Hakka village.
