About Tiankeng Village Ancient Buildings
Tiankeng Village Ancient Building Complex, also known as Tiankeng Ancient City, is located in Changkeng Village, Duozhu Town, Huidong County, Guangdong Province. It covers an area of more than 12,000 square meters. It was first built in the late Ming Dynasty and completed during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It has a history of more than 300 years. The ancient building complex in Tiankeng Village adopts a courtyard-style quadrangle layout, which is small and exquisite. The walls are built with blue bricks and the walls are "wok-er-seal" volcanic walls, showing the architectural characteristics of traditional Guangfu residential buildings in Lingnan. It is a relatively large and well-preserved ancient Hakka village. The ancient building complex in Tiankeng Village includes more than 20 buildings and many houses.
