About Huizhou Botanical Garden
Huizhou Botanical Garden is located in Fengshan, Xiajiao, Huicheng District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. It has a total planned area of about 1,000 acres and will be constructed in two phases. The park was formerly known as Huizhou Dongjiang Tree Science and Technology Demonstration Park. It was built by the Huizhou Forestry Bureau on the basis of the original Dongjiang Tree Science and Technology Demonstration Park. It was officially opened in 2018 and is managed by the Huizhou Forestry Science Institute (Huizhou Botanical Garden Management Service Center). In 2023, it was selected as the Guangdong Province Evergreen Forest Garden. The first phase covers an area of 41.82 hectares, covering areas such as Gurong Mountain and Ziwei Mountain. It has 11 specialized parks such as herbal gardens and greenhouses.
