About Portrait of Deng Xiaoping
Deng Xiaoping's portrait is a giant outdoor propaganda poster located at the north of Shennan Avenue and the southeast entrance of Lychee Park in Futian District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China. It was built on June 28, 1992 and designed by Wang Jibin, a designer at Shenzhen Art Advertising Company. The initial version was 10 meters high and 30 meters wide. It was made using hand-painted paint technology and was the largest hand-painted giant oil painting in China at the time. It is now an iconic landscape in Shenzhen, attracting millions of tourists every year.
