About Zeng Yu-zhai's Tomb

Zeng Yuzhai Tomb, also known as Mingshi Ren Shima Tomb, is located on the campus of Guangdong University of Technology on the southern slope of Jinyin Mountain, Xiaoguwei Street, Panyu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It was built in the 18th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1590). Zeng Yuzhai's tomb faces north and faces south, about 50 meters long and 20 meters wide, covering an area of nearly 1,000 square meters. Made of basalt stone, the tomb is a joint burial of husband and wife. It consists of a Xiangtang, a mountain hand, a platform, a Shinto, and stone figures, horses, and sheep on both sides. Zeng Yuzhai's tomb is the largest stone mountain hand-shaped Ming Dynasty tomb known in Guangzhou. Not only are the stone components exquisitely carved and unprecedented, but the six stone figurines are complete and well-preserved.
