About Beiting Village Qingyun Street Gate
Beiting Village "Road to Qingyun" Street Gate is located at the entrance of Qingyun Street, Beiting Village, Xiaoguwei Street, Panyu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It was built in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, covering an area of 16 square meters. The street gate is close to Donglin Liang Gong Temple and is the only way to enter Beiting Village. The street gate is a traditional Chinese building and is rarely seen in modern buildings. The street gate of "Road to Qingyun" in Beiting Village is a brick-wood structure gatehouse with a complete plaque, a wooden attic and exquisite railings. The gatehouse and the nearby stone road have conservation value. On December 15, 2014, the "Road to Qingyun" street gate in Beiting Village was announced by the Guangzhou Municipal Planning Bureau as the second batch of historical buildings in Guangzhou.
