About Observation Tower
Guanfeng Tower, also known as Observatory, is located on Guanfeng Mountain on the south side of Guanshui Road, Nanming District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, next to the Nanming River. The specific address is No. 46 Guanshui Road or No. 27 Guanshui Road. It is the location of "Wind Terrace Treading Grass", one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Guiyang" in the Qing Dynasty. The pavilion was first built in the 32nd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1604). Bi Sancai, the governor of Guizhou, built the pavilion and named it. The name comes from "observing the customs and asking customs" and is also related to the legend of Zhuge Liang's southern expedition in the Shu Han Dynasty. To the west is the seat of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee. The entrance is hidden in the Provincial Party Committee family area. You need to go through Nanming East Road to find it.
