About Ziyang Palace
Ziyang Palace is a Taoist Quanzhen Taoist temple located in Zengdu District, Suizhou City, Hubei Province. It was built to commemorate Hu Ziyang, the great Taoist priest of Ziyang in the Tang Dynasty. It is now located in the East Park of Suizhou Cultural Park. Hu Ziyang studied under Li Hanguang and had friends with Li Bai. His Taoist deeds were recorded in the history of Taoism. The main hall of Gongguan is dedicated to Ziyang Zhenren, Sun Simiao and Emperor Wenchang. The side halls are equipped with Caishen Hall and Guanyin Hall. The architecture combines the style of the Tang Dynasty and Taoist rituals. The original site of the palace is no longer known. In 2015, it was rebuilt and completed at the current site and a consecration ceremony was held. The Taoist Association of Hubei Province and local leaders attended the event.
