About Meiling Grand Canyon Scenic Area

Meiling Grand Canyon Scenic Area is located in Meiling Town, Wanli District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It is a core component of the Meiling-Tengwang Pavilion National Scenic Area. The scenic spot was established on November 11, 2016. Based on the canyon landform, it focuses on outdoor adventure and ecological tourism. It relies on the "Landscape +" model to develop diversified cultural tourism projects and build a comprehensive tourism destination in the suburbs. The core feature of the scenic spot is canyon rafting, which starts from Gongjiaqiao and ends at Xixia Reservoir. The Meiling rafting project has a total investment of 300 million yuan and is divided into three phases. 30% of the total investment has been completed in the first phase. The rafting equipment was imported from Pennsylvania in the United States and it receives more than 1,000 tourists a day.
