About Meiling Shenlongtan
Meiling Shenlongtan is located in the hinterland of Meiling Scenic Area, Xinjian District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, about 30 kilometers away from Nanchang City. It is open from 08:30-17:00 every day throughout the year. As one of the "Ten Scenic Spots in Yuzhang", the scenic spot is characterized by the fusion of waterfalls, mountain village customs and the legend of Poyang Lake. It includes natural landscapes such as Shenlongtan Waterfall, Huxiaoquan Waterfall and Longyin Valley. It is a mountainous tourist area with functions of sightseeing, leisure and mountain fitness. There are more than 20,000 azaleas of dozens of species planted in the 100-acre Rhododendron Garden. There is also a thousand-year-old yew tree with a height of 26 meters and a chest circumference of 1.88 meters. It is a national first-class protected plant.
