About Zhongshan Road Night Market

Zhongshan Road Night Market is a night market located at No. 61 Minzu Road, Qingxiu District, Nanning City. It was formed in the 1990s. The night market opens at six o'clock every night. It is nicknamed by the citizens as "shabby like a thatched cottage during the day, and bustling like a paradise at night." It is one of the three major night markets in Nanning along with Jianzheng Road and Nongyuan Road. It is well-known in the area and was once selected into the list of "Top Ten Food Streets in the Country". The night market brings together Nanning local snacks such as Laoyou noodles, roll noodles, and sour rice noodles, as well as North, South and overseas specialties such as barbecue and Indian flying pancakes. It is an integral part of the nightlife of Nanning people. In 2009, Zhongshan Road Night Market was rated as one of the top ten city tourist cards in Nanning.
