About Wuguo Toucheng

Wuguo Toucheng is the seat of Yueli Jibu, one of the Five Kingdoms of the Liao Dynasty. It is located on the south bank of the Songhua River in the north of Yilan County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. It is located at the intersection of Songhua River, Mudan River and Woken River. It is the city where the Five Kingdoms met, so it is called Five Kingdoms Toucheng. The Liao Dynasty established the jurisdiction of the Five Kingdoms Jiedushi here, and it became an important military town guarding the northeastern border. After the Jin Dynasty destroyed the Northern Song Dynasty in the fifth year of Jin Tianhui (1127), the two emperors Huizong and Qinzong of the Song Dynasty were taken captive and imprisoned here in 1130. This place is famous for this. The Wuguo Toucheng ruins are rectangular in shape with a circumference of about 2,210 meters.
