About Suzhou Garden

Suzhou Garden is located in the Jiangnan Park of Xiamen Garden Expo, Jimei District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. It is one of the core scenic spots that showcases the characteristics of Jiangnan gardens. The design of the garden is based on the back gardens of literati and lay people. The overall layout adopts the borrowing technique of Suzhou gardens to create a visual effect of changing scenery with each step. The architectural style is graceful and delicate, and the core landscape "Wumen Chunhui" embodies the quaint and elegant style of the Jiangnan water town. As one of the first parks built when the Xiamen Garden Expo opened in 2007, Suzhou Garden, Hangzhou Garden, Xiamen Garden, etc. together form a diverse garden landscape group.
