About Shanghai People's Square
People's Square of Shanghai, located at No. 185 Renmin Avenue, Huangpu District, Shanghai, is located in the center of Shanghai. It is Shanghai's political, economic, cultural, tourism center and transportation hub, and one of Shanghai's landmark buildings. Shanghai People's Square is mainly composed of an open square, People's Park, and surrounding cultural, tourism, and commercial buildings, covering a total area of 140,000 square meters. The north side of the square is the seat of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the northwest side is the Shanghai Grand Theater, the northeast side is the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, and the south side is the Shanghai Museum, with People's Avenue running through it.
