About Zhucheng Square
Zhucheng Plaza is located on Zunyi Road, Nanming District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, with a total area of 87,433 square meters. It was completed in December 2011 and is known as the "city living room". The square is distributed in a peninsular shape along the Nanming River. With bamboo culture as the core design concept, it integrates regional characteristics and modern technology through sculptures, clock towers and other landscapes, and is positioned as an urban public space that integrates citizen leisure, cultural display, and ecological demonstration. The main building "Zhuyun" is composed of 8 steel reeds, 71 meters long, 55 meters wide and 28 meters high. There are bronze auspicious animal sculptures cast in four directions of the square, each 9.5 meters long, 5 meters high and weighing 6 tons, designed by Guo Xuanchang.
