Park Hotel is located at No. 170 Nanjing West Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai, China. It is located in the center of Shanghai, facing south from the north and facing Shanghai People's Square to the south. It was completed and put into use on December 1, the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934). It was the tallest building in Shanghai from its completion to 1982. The central flagpole on the roof was determined as the origin of Shanghai's urban surveying and mapping plane coordinates in November 1950. The International Hotel covers an area of 1,176 square meters, with a construction area of 15,650 square meters, 22 floors above ground, 2 floors underground, and a height of 83.8 meters. The building is a sail-shaped skyscraper with a steel frame structure in the Art Deco style.
