About Former dorm. for delegates to the 1 National Congress of the CPC

The former site of the dormitory of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is located at No. 127 Taicang Road, Shanghai (formerly No. 389 Baier Road), which was originally the site of Bowen Girls' School. The school was founded by Huang Shaolan and Zhong Jingfu in 1914. After resumption in 1920, it moved to this site in 1921. In July 1921, nine representatives of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China, including Mao Zedong and He Shuheng, stayed here in the name of the "Peking University Summer Tour Group", during which they drafted documents and prepared for meetings. In 2019, the former dormitory site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China was incorporated into the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units - the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
