About Shanghai Greenhouse Garden
Shanghai Greenhouse Garden is a multi-functional ecological complex in the center of the South District of Shanghai World Expo Cultural Park. It is adjacent to the Central Lake and backed by Twin Mountains. It covers an area of approximately 22,000 square meters and has a total construction area of approximately 40,000 square meters. Its main body consists of the visitor service center and three major themed venues: Hall 1 Haishi Sandbank, Hall 2 Yunshang Forest, and Hall 3 Yunwu Canyon. The venues are connected through underwater galleries and retain the steel structure of the industrial site of the Third Shanghai Iron and Steel Factory. The exterior facade adopts a cloud-shaped curved glass curtain wall. The shape design is based on the transformation of the old factory building of the Third Shanghai Iron and Steel Factory to form a natural and elegant cloud-like curve.
