About Qingxiu Mountain Thousand-Year Cycad Garden

Qingxiu Mountain Thousand-Year Cycad Garden is located in the Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area in Nanning City, Guangxi, covering an area of about 180 acres. There are nearly 100 cycad trees in the park that are over a thousand years old, among which the oldest "Cycad King" is more than 1,360 years old. The park has collected a total of 97 species of cycads, with a total number of tens of thousands of plants, covering more than 620 germplasm resources such as Cycad cycads and Cycad debauches. It is one of the largest cycad ex-situ conservation bases in China. The park has formed a whole-process conservation model of "introduction and collection-scientific research-conservation and expansion-popular science display-return to the wild". In 2023, it will complete the first domestic Debao Cycad Mountain Habitat Return to the Wild project in 2023.
