About Zhuangyuanquan Cultural Park
Zhuangyuanquan Cultural Park is located at the foot of Mao Ridge in the central area of Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area in Nanning. It is an AAAAA-level tourist attraction. It is said that the garden was named after Zhao Guanwen, the first champion in Guangxi in the second year of Qianning (895) in the Tang Dynasty. He once rested and studied in this spring and was later designated as the champion by Emperor Zhaozong of the Tang Dynasty. The spring source is located in the Cimu Pavilion area halfway up the mountain, and flows into the lotus pond. There are Bangyanxuan, Kuixing Pavilion, etc. built around it. The inscription gallery contains the imperial examination system and the brief history of Guangxi's top scholars in past dynasties.
