About Colorful waterfall

Colorful Waterfall is located in Xueping Town, Nanzhang County, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, 35 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total area of 110 square kilometers. The scenic spot was opened to the public in October 1997 and is a national A-level tourist attraction. It includes five major functional areas: Xiangshui River, Putuo Temple, Ganjing Cave, Prajna Temple, and Sanjingzhuang, with waterfalls, caves, and canyons as the main landscape combination. This area is densely distributed with more than 50 scenic spots such as the Colorful Waterfall, Sandie Waterfall, and Eagle Waterfall. Among them, the Colorful Waterfall can show seven colors of red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple due to the refraction of sunlight at certain times on a sunny day. It is evaluated by experts as a rare landscape in China.
