About Adunzi Old Town
Adunzi Ancient City is located in Shengping Town, Deqin County, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China. It has been the political, cultural, economic, and religious exchange center in the Meili Snow Mountain area since the Tang Dynasty. It is an important hub and important town on the Yunnan-Tibet line of the Ancient Tea Horse Road. Together with Dukezong Ancient City, Dayan Ancient City, and Shuhe Ancient Town, it is also known as the four ancient cities left behind by the Tea Horse Ancient Road culture in Yunnan. Adunzi Ancient City is 3,400 meters above sea level and covers an area of 112.65 acres. The ancient city is surrounded by Meili Snow Mountain, Jiawu Snow Mountain, Runzi Snow Mountain, Baima Snow Mountain and other snow-capped mountains with an altitude of over 5,000 meters.
