About Steel Sculpture Park
Shanghai Steel Sculpture Park is located at No. 101, Changjiang West Road, Baoshan District, Shanghai, within the Shanghai International Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Park, covering an area of 53,000 square meters. It was formerly the Shanghai Ferroalloy Factory and was later transformed into the country's first post-industrial ecological landscape park with the theme of steel sculptures. The park design makes full use of the abandoned factory buildings, dust removal towers and other industrial elements of the original factory, transforming them into steel sculptures of art to reflect the historical context. There are more than 70 steel sculptures on display in the park, including the large-scale installation "Steel Sculpture No. 1".
