About TRON Lightcycle Power Run
TRON is a high-speed roller coaster ride in the "Tomorrowland" theme park of Shanghai Disneyland. This project is the first of its kind in Disney parks around the world. Its ride is inspired by the Disney science fiction movie "Tron: Legacy". Visitors ride on a light motorcycle in a prone position and speed on a track full of light and shadow special effects. It is one of the fastest roller coasters in the history of Disney theme parks. The project started operation with the opening of Shanghai Disneyland on June 16, 2016. In 2025, to celebrate the release of the movie "Tron: God of War", the project launched a new red-orange theme lighting effect and soundtrack for a limited time.
