About Luorong Cattle Farm
Luorong Cattle Farm is located in Daocheng County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, at an altitude of 4,150 meters. It is an alpine pasture where nearby villagers graze. "Luorong" means "the lawn where gods play" in Tibetan. It is said that it is the holy place left by Padmasambhava who practiced here. As one of the seven scenic spots in the Aden tourist area, the pasture is surrounded by three snow-capped mountains: Xiannairi, Shanuoduoji, and Yangmaiyong. The Gongga River flows through it to form a pure lake. Herds of cattle and sheep present traditional grazing scenes among the abundant sunshine and green grassland. The existing wooden houses and the natural landscape together form an original ecological picture. The movie "Passing Through Your World" was filmed here.
