About Beihai Old Town

Beihai Old Town Scenic Area is located in Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with a total area of 0.4 square kilometers and consists of Zhuhai Road, Shaji Street, Zhongshan Road and 25 alleys. This area is centered on a complex of arcade-style buildings that combine Chinese and Western styles. It was once an important commercial port in South China. The existing buildings bear witness to the historical changes of Beihai as a trading port. On November 5, 2021, it was announced by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as one of the first batch of national-level night culture and tourism consumption clusters, becoming the only cluster area with a historical and cultural block as the core among the first six selected projects in Guangxi.
