About Yezhi Chieftain Office
Yezhi Chieftain's Office, referred to as Chieftain's Office, also known as "Sanjiang Commander's Mansion" and "Wang's Chieftain's Office", is located in Yezhi Village, Weixi Lisu Autonomous County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is the official residence of the hereditary chieftain Wang of the Naxi people in the past. The Yezhi Chieftain's Office Building Complex is not only large in scale, but also has a reasonable overall structural layout, diverse forms, and unique styles. It is a building complex with "three squares and one screen wall" and "four in one and five patios". The original chieftain's office occupied an area of more than 50 acres, with an east-to-west layout and two courtyards in the north and south.
