About Heming Tower
Heming Tower is an antique building located in Chuansha Park in Pudong New District, Shanghai. It is modeled after the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan. The building started construction in July 1991 with funds raised by the Chuansha County People's Government and was completed and opened in June 1993. The main building is 54 meters high and adopts a five-tower seven-story structure with a total construction area of 4,200 square meters. It has a glazed roof and a jade platform as the base, and is equipped with 80 columns and 60 eaves and golden bells. Its name comes from the line "The Crane Mings in Jiugao" in "The Book of Songs", and also echoes the ancient crane sand place name in Pudong and the prototype Yellow Crane Tower.
