About Zhongtai Nanning Kongjing Friendship Park

China-Thailand Friendship Park, also known as Thailand Garden, is located in the middle of Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area in Nanning City. The park covers an area of 11,334 square meters. It was built in 1995 and opened in 1997. The Friendship Park was designed and constructed by Thai designers to commemorate the establishment of sister cities between Nanning, China and Khon Kaen, Thailand in 1993. There are Buddhist halls, stupas, wooden towers, bell pavilions, cloisters and other buildings in the park, which represent the architectural styles of southern, northern and central Thailand respectively. There is also the Nanning-Khon Kaen Friendship Monument. The temple houses 9 bronze Buddha statues donated by the Khon Kaen Municipal Government in Thailand. The park is open from 08:00-18:00 all year round and is the only exotic garden in Nanning City.
