About Lin'en Cliff Inscriptions
Lin'en Cliff Carvings, located in Lin'en Natural Village, Sangga Village, Daju Township, Angren County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region, are the remains of cliff carvings from the Ming Dynasty. Lin En's cliff carvings face south, facing the Duoxiong Zangbo River flowing from west to east. The mountain range where the statue is located is the Qulongjieb Mountains. The cliff face is huge and relatively flat, which is suitable for making various artificial carvings. The geographical environment of the statue is near the downstream of the intersection of the Duoxiong Zangbo and Mequ Zangbo rivers. The Lin'en cliff stone carvings are composed of three large paintings and several small paintings.
