About Guangzhou Funerary Museum

The Guangzhou Funeral Museum was officially launched on March 29, 2021. It is the first public welfare digital museum in China with the theme of funerals. Through the combination of online exhibition hall and offline VR experience hall, the museum uses text, pictures, audio and video and virtual reality technology to systematically display the development of Guangfu's funeral culture from the Western Han Dynasty to the present day. It covers eight themed exhibition halls covering funeral concepts, etiquette systems, burial methods, etc., including the preface hall, the funeral history hall, the customs change hall, the archaeological discovery hall, the funeral reform hall, the hall of sages and heroes, the epitaph hall of famous people, and the tail hall.
