About Bay Area Folk Museum
The Bay Area Folk Museum is an important part of the "Eye of the Bay Area". It is located in the south area of the Eye of the Bay Area, No. 1 Baohua Road, Bao'an District, Shenzhen. It will open on September 26, 2025. It is positioned as a base for the creative transformation of China's excellent traditional culture, a window for the display and exchange of intangible cultural heritage in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and an important cultural tourism destination in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The museum started construction on December 18, 2021 with the Bay Area Book City project, adopting the operation model of "cultural exchange exhibition + folk custom exhibition + dynamic experience".
