About Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum
The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, formerly known as the Sutra Library, is located in the dense forest between Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Linggu Temple. It is a classical building imitating a lamasery in the Qing Dynasty. The main building is 20.8 meters high, with green glazed tiles on the top and yellow glazed tiles on the roof. The center of the main ridge is decorated with a copper canopy, and the beams, columns and beams are decorated with colorful paintings. The building houses Dr. Sun Yat-sen's classic works and Feng'an photos and other precious historical materials. There is a 2.6-meter-high full-length bronze statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen on the flower stand in the middle of the square in front of the building. Behind the building is a 125-meter-long stele corridor, on which is engraved the full text of "Three People's Principles" written by Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
