About Shenzhen Science Museum
Shenzhen Science Museum is located at the intersection of Shangbu Middle Road and Shennan Middle Road, Futian District, Shenzhen. It is one of the "eight major cultural facilities" invested and constructed by the municipal government during the "first entrepreneurial period" of Shenzhen in the 20th century. It is also one of the earliest science popularization venues built in China. Shenzhen Science Museum was founded in December 1983 and completed in 1987. The construction area is 12,000 square meters, the permanent science exhibition hall and activity area are 5,000 square meters, and the total investment is 17.37 million yuan. Shenzhen Science Museum has three floors of permanent exhibition halls, with a total of five themed exhibition areas, namely: Creation Exhibition Area, Mathematics Exhibition Area, Thinking Exhibition Area, Leadership Exhibition Area and Water Exhibition Area.
