About Shenzhen Art Museum
Shenzhen Art Museum is a public art museum under the jurisdiction of Shenzhen Municipality. It was formerly the Shenzhen Exhibition Hall established in 1976. It was renamed to its current name in 1987 with the approval of the municipal government. It currently houses the Luohu East Lake Pavilion and the Longhua North Station New Pavilion, which will be put into trial operation on September 28, 2023 and officially opened on November 6. The East Lake Pavilion is located in East Lake Park, covering an area of 5,500 square meters, with a construction area of 2,800 square meters, including an exhibition hall of 1,200 square meters. The new museum has a construction area of 66,000 square meters, equipped with 18 exhibition halls, a 3,900-square-meter semi-outdoor sculpture field, a collection library and other facilities.
