About Guangzhou Railway Museum (Old Huangsha Station)
The Guangzhou Railway Museum is located at No. 3, Yujiang Road, Huangsha Avenue, Liwan District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It covers an area of 28,950 square meters, including 18,489 square meters of outdoor area and 10,461 square meters of indoor area. It is divided into two indoor exhibition halls and one open-air exhibition area. It is a special transportation museum. It is currently the largest railway museum in South China. On May 18, 2022, the Guangzhou Railway Museum officially opened to the public. The museum was built on the original site of the century-old Huangsha Station. The overall building retains the basic original style. It integrates display, collection, display, science popularization, and education. It collects more than 4,000 historical relics and old objects. It is an important window to present the history of railway development in multiple dimensions.
