About Ten Fragrance Garden
Shixiang Garden, the former residence of Ju Lian and Ju Chao, formerly known as Geshan Thatched Cottage, is located at No. 3 Huaide Street, Geshan Community, Jiangnan Avenue, Geshan Community, Changgang Street, Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It is known as the "cradle of Lingnan Painting School" and "the birthplace of Lingnan Painting School". The building area of Shixiang Garden is about 696 square meters. The overall plan is nearly square. There are Jinxi Temple, Xiaoyue Qin Pavilion, Zilihua Pavilion, etc. The gate of Shixiang Garden faces the northwest, and there is Haizhuyong (Geshanyong) outside the residence. As the birthplace of the Lingnan School of Painting, Shixiang Garden has extremely important commemorative significance.
