About Liao Zhongkai and He Xiangning Memorial Hall
The Liao Zhongkai and He Xiangning Memorial Hall is located at No. 24 Dongsha Street, Textile Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou. It was formerly the office building of Zhongkai Agricultural and Technical School founded by He Xiangning in 1927. It was rebuilt in April 1982. Because it is a memorial hall to commemorate the revolutionary pioneers Liao Zhongkai and He Xiangning, it is named Liao Zhongkai and He Xiangning Memorial Hall. Comrade Ye Jianying inscribed the name of the museum. The building is two stories high, covers an area of 1307 square meters, and has a construction area of 704 square meters. Surrounding the memorial hall are the Liao Zhongkai monument and the white marble seated statue of He Xiangning.
