About OCT Wetland Ecological Exhibition Hall
The OCT Wetland Ecological Exhibition Hall is located in the west gate area of OCT National Wetland Park in Shenzhen, covering a total area of 1,270 square meters. It was officially opened to the public on November 28, 2014. As the core educational facility of the national wetland park, the exhibition hall uses a tidal simulation pool to restore the natural tidal scene of Shenzhen Bay 50 years ago, uses giant coastal wetland profile oil paintings to present biological communities in layers, and is equipped with a bird watching system to display the ecological evolution of the wetland. The exhibition hall receives more than one million visitors on average every year, and together with the ecological classroom and zero-waste park, it forms a nature education system. Nearly 10,000 nature education activities are carried out every year.
