About Qingpai Shiju
Qingpai World Residence is located in Qingpai Village, Jinsha Community, Kengzi Street, Pingshan District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. It is named after Qingpai Ridge. It was built from the end of Jiaqing to the beginning of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1820-1821). It was built by the brothers Huang Qiyi, the sixth ancestor of the Huang family, as a Hakka enclosed house. His son Huang Qiyi inherited his father's business and accumulated wealth through commercial trade with the "Thirteen Banks" in Guangzhou, and built Qingpai World Residence. The building complex has a history of nearly 200 years and covers an area of 8,268 square meters. It is a product of the heyday of the Kengzi Huang clan. The enclosed house adopts the layout of three halls, two horizontals, three rows and two patios. The whole building is in the shape of a "back".
