About Panyu Museum
Panyu Museum, a local comprehensive museum, is located at No. 121 Yinping Road, Shatou Street, Panyu District. It covers an area of 240 acres and is divided into three parts: the multi-functional exhibition building, Panyu Cultural Expo Park, and the Eastern Han Dynasty Ancient Tombs Scenic Area. Panyu Museum was completed and opened in November 1997. The collection categories include porcelain, pottery, bronze, iron, wood, gold and silver, stone and jade, lacquerware, calligraphy and painting, currency, etc. With the cultural relics and historical relics unearthed in the Panyu area as the main body, a collection system of 6 series and 16 categories has been formed. As of the end of 2019, Panyu Museum has 4,804 pieces (sets) of cultural relics in its collection, including 35 pieces (sets) of precious cultural relics.
